Physical Traits
⊹ A Raen Au Ra, with messy blonde hair, dark reddish skin, light scales, and light green eyes.
⊹ A bit on the tall side, though among other male Au Ra adventurers, he often appears shorter.
⊹ From his previous work, lifting boxes at the port in Thavnair, and now swinging axes as he does, Zantetsu has muscles enough to lift most objects he sets his mind to.
⊹ His clothes are all of a Thavnairian style, featuring silks, jewels, and the miscellaneous little things that speak of his home.
⊹ His horns end in horn caps. He wears a gorget openly around his neck. Rings adorn his fingers and various jewels hang off of his clothing. A close look reveals most are scraped and seem to be made of glass.
⊹ Dirt covers his clothes, his axe, and even his face. Wherever he goes, there seems to be a thin layer of it that goes with him. Just the nature of the work.
⊹ Scales are generally kept smooth and clean, when possible. Dangerously pointy chin spikes have been filed down a bit. His tail, despite being rather thick, is quite short.

Axe? Axe. Zantetsu is usually carrying an axe. The way he wears it, holds it, swings it, all tell of training from the Marauders' Guild in Limsa Lominsa.
Earthy, this man is. Despite obvious attempts to keep clean, Zantetsu's line of work is dirty. It shows itself on his armor, on his weapon, on his face. That has not stopped him from trying to address odor with dried flowers, and those could come from anyone.
Anyone with passing familiarity with Thavnairian accents or clothing styles would be able to spot where Zantetsu is from. The more perceptive may notice that he tends to default to Doman when speaking, however. His name is certainly more Far East than Near. Someone with familiarity with Thavnair would find him easily approachable.
This man does not speak Eorzean well. He may have a grasp on basic vocabulary and grammatical rules, but his pauses tend to be long, and grammar fairly basic. Fortunately, he is not the type to let that stop him from trying to make conversation, even if that means pantomiming what he is trying to get across. Sometimes, strangers in bars are the best people to try your language skills with as well.
Muscles tell of plenty of demanding, physical work. It has given him an appearance that is plenty strong, but he lacks the definition one might expect of those that pursue any bodybuilding in earnest. Anyone that might have needed a heavy object moved from Point A to Point B could have called upon him.
Zantetsu has earned himself a reputation for reliability with the Adventurers' Guild. However, he also has a reputation for going after easier marks, like wild beasts and dealing with infestations, rather than any of the riskier jobs. Anyone taking small jobs with the Guild could find themselves working alongside him.
Those with knowledge of Thavnair and its trading houses may have knowledge of bonded servants who came by way of Doma.

Long Term: Have a grand story you want to tell? I could be interested! That said, Zantetsu usually sticks close to established lore, but that lore still leaves a good amount of wiggle room.
Short Term: One-off stories can be plenty of fun! Share the details and let's see what'd work.
Slice of Life: Zantetsu is slowly learning about life in Eorzea. He'd be happy to find out more.
Adventure: Looking to improve his skills and reputation as an adventurer, Zantetsu would gladly join in on dungeon dives and other outings.
